Be of Good Cheer!

This past sunday, Sean and I gave talks on Be of Good Cheer! I have a fear of speakin in front of people so I was really nervous but it turned out really well! Sean did amazing! His writing a talk consists of just bullet points and scribbles. I'm jealous he never has to write it all out. That's the joy of going on a mission! But what I loved most about giving the talk was not the talk itself. I felt more welcomed into the ward! It's been hard because we are the youngest couple there and the only ones without kids because it's an older established neighborhood. But this past sunday, I met more people then I ever have and we even got invited over for dinner friday with a younger family that has three boys! It was such an amazing day so full of happiness and love! I love sundays. I look forward to it after a long week of work. There's one quote i'd like to share from my talk, it's from President Monson. He said, "Your future is as bright as your Faith". Just something to think about! :)

A New Beginning

On August 6, 2011 Sean and I were married in the Salt Lake Temple for time and eternity. It was such a special day and I feel so grateful to have married my best friend. I was able to go through the temple the week before and had my sweetheart, parents, and brother and sister-in-law tyler and steph join us. It was such and amazing experience and such a special day also. The reception was the best time of my life! We were having so much fun that we didn't want to leave when the limo pulled up. Everything turned out perfect! I love sean so much!

We weren't able to take a big honeymoon yet because we both had to work but we were able to stay and the Grand America Hotel for a night and then went up to Snowbird for a couple days. It was so much fun! We rode the zip line and the alpine slide for hours. Sean had to talk me into the zip line but i'm so glad he did cuz it became my favorite ride there. The only bad thing was i was so sick with allergies so we had to go home a few hours earlier than we planned but we still had a Blast!! We are planning to go on our real honeymoon in October during his fall break. We're headed to California to Disneyland. And what's funny is it was sean's idea for Disneyland. It's one of his favortie places! I can't wait! I've only been once so this is going to be a blast going with my best friend!

He is such a great husband! Yesterday was my 20th birthday and i woke up to Sean bringing me breakfast in bed! It was the best birthday i've ever had. He sure treated me like a queen all day. I took advantage of it being my day ha but hey, i only get that day once a year! My family took me to seven peaks on saturday for my birthday. It's a tradition in my family to go every year and it just so happens it's by my birthday every year!:) I'm a bit sore still tho from the rides ha. I got a pretty good whiplash on a ride called the bomerang but nothing much cuz i'm dealing with more pain right now. Because today I finally got my wisdom teeth out! Wohoo! I've been actually looking forward to it because my wisdom teeth have been impacted so it's been putting pressure on all my teeth and actually shifted one of my lower teeth. So hello braces again! This is why I finally started our blog because I have lots of time in bed to work on it! It really hasn't been too bad. It's funny falling asleep and not even remembering them putting you out for the surgery. I do remember waking up actually during my surgery! Of course i didn't feel a thing cuz I was so numb but I remember it was right when he was yanking one of my teeth out. Thank goodness they put me out again only a few seconds later so I didn't have to see anymore. My Sean has had to work today so I have my wonderful mom, sister-in-law and cute neices taking care of me. I love my family so much. I'm so grateful for them. They are always there for everyone when they need them. Well i'm hoping to only be out for a few more days because we have a vacation lined up for this weekend at Jackson so hopefully i'll be all healed up by then! I'm not too swollen yet!
